Since 2001, the church undercroft has been the site of a Soup Kitchen for the homeless.
Every Saturday at 10am, soup, bread, porridge and fruit are served to clients whose numbers have ranged from 90 to 150. The soup kitchen is mostly funded by donations of money and goods from overseas, and volunteers do most of the work.

Future plans
We plan to expand our mission in the Soup Kitchen. We would like to offer the guests the opportunity to talk of spiritual matters and life in general. But that will probably happen after the COVID.
“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[a] you were doing it to me!’
